Our projects are around the UK and South Africa
In South Africa and Uganda we are working with children and young people who have suffered severe traumas such as Physical, sexual and emotional abuse, loss and grief through bereavement and physical disabilities and witnessing the murders of family members.
Yebo supports children and young people through animal-based communication activities. Children also get the chance to interact with African wildlife that some of them never even new existed. Communication activities use animals and their behaviour to help children understand their own feelings.
UK based activities involve working with child support organisations and schools such as children’s hospices and pre-schools running primate-based communication activities, involving art, music and drama activities.
Yebo’s projects are aimed at developing new skills to aid your course and get valuable experience for future careers.
