They get sad,happy, jealous , angry and they can even be very stubborn. Sometimes you forget they are not completely human \u201d<\/span><\/h2>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h2><strong>How does the day run?<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><strong>Below is a guide to how the day may run, although each day is always structured to suit the needs of the individual children or young people we are supporting.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Primate days can take place at your hospice or support organisation.\u00a0 If appropriate, we will take children to visit organisations that house primates to allow them to observe their behaviour.<br \/>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The children are shown examples of different primates, their feelings and behaviour through photographs and video, with individual stories of rescue and rehabilitation that happens in primate sanctuaries .<img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"alignright size-medium wp-image-190\" style=\"margin: 10px;\" title=\"Vervet monkey puppet\" alt=\"Vervet monkey puppet\" src=\"http:\/\/www.yeboyes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/half-vervetpuppet-174x300.jpg\" width=\"174\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"http:\/\/www.yeboyes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/half-vervetpuppet-174x300.jpg 174w, http:\/\/www.yeboyes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/half-vervetpuppet-596x1024.jpg 596w, http:\/\/www.yeboyes.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/05\/half-vervetpuppet.jpg 1248w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 174px) 100vw, 174px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Later in\u00a0 the day the children are split into different groups of primates and encouraged to make a family of primates with puppets, acting out a story using self expression and creativity about a family situation they think a primate family has faced.\u00a0\u00a0 This has proved to be successful in previous primate days with siblings of a childrens hospice and pre-schools\u00a0 allowing children to relate their own family situations through a safe environment.
